I was lucky enough to have 4th of July week off as we couldn’t hold camp on Friday the 4th. I spent most of my time with my wonderful boyfriend in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. When he wasn’t working or we weren’t watching movies starring Patrick Swayze, we went for walks along the rivers. Here are some of my favorite photos that we took along the way.
We thought this tree was pretty gnarly…
Tiny flowers!
This statue of a dog is called “High Five”
We ate Taco Bell on a giant sitting rock with this view 🙂
Standing in front of a wall with paint covering all the graffiti. Artzy right?
You have to believe me when I say I didn’t edit this next picture at all. The flowers were that bright.
I love the reflection in the water.
Climbed up this 6-7 foot wall onto a ledge. Thought I was being cool until I realized I didn’t have a way down. Luckily my boyfriend figured out how to rescue me.
We saw so many ducks! I love how this one turned out after editing. I like the silhouette-effect and the bright blue water.
This is us celebrating the 4th of July in Altoona with live music and fireworks. We arrived quite early and were able to check out a car show as well. We watched the clouds, discussed “Would You Rather” Questions (such as Duck feet or Clown shoes? and Travel in the past or future?), and laughed at ourselves. We had an awesome week together. ❤
